Trekking Pisa Mountains

Dante pass. The two historical cities Pisa and Lucca are separated by the lovely Pisa Mountains.

The father of the Italian language Dante Alighieri came here and wrote in his famous book "The Divine Comedy" (Hell, Song XXXIII) that these hills between Lucca and Pisa are very important, asa safty buffer, so each city can live in peace. The pleasant walk starts in the lovevly green landscape of Lucca, we will cross olive groves, a typical Tuscan village, the fragrant scrubland and we will reach the path of Mountains S. Giuliano where we can see the beautiful valley of Pisa with the Leaning Tower and the silhouette of the sea.
